As experienced online retailers, we take the security of our customers and their information very seriously. We only deal with reputable companies to handle online payments and we NEVER give out or sell any part (no matter how small) of a customer's information.

Payments are taken by Protx - here is a word from them:

As a PSP, thousands of businesses outsource their transaction security to us. It is our top priority to ensure that transaction data is kept secure at all times.

Transaction security

All transaction information passed between merchant sites and the Protx VSP Systems is encrypted using 128-bit SSL certificates. No cardholder information is ever passed unencrypted and any messages sent to your servers from Protx are signed using MD5 hashing to prevent tampering. You can be completely secure in the knowledge that nothing you pass to the Protx servers can be examined, used or modified by any third parties attempting to gain access to sensitive information.

Encryption and Data Storage

Once on our systems, all sensitive data is secured using the same internationally recognised 256-bit encryption standards used by, among others, the US Government. The encryption keys are held on state-of-the-art, tamper proof systems in the same family as those used to secure VeriSign's Global Root certificate, making them all but impossible to extract. The data we hold is extremely secure and we are regularly audited by the banks and banking authorities to ensure it remains so.

Links to banks

Protx has multiple private links into the banking network that are completely separate from the Internet and which do not cross any publicly accessible networks. Any cardholder information sent to the banks and any authorisation message coming back is secure and cannot be tampered with.

Employee access

No individuals within Protx are able to decrypt transaction information or cardholder data. Our systems only allow access to our most senior staff and only in extenuating circumstances (such as investigations of Card Fraud by the Police). Your transaction information and customer card information is secure even from our own employees because our systems never display the full card numbers, even on administration screens.

Accreditation

Protx is audited by an independent company Trustwave to ensure that we are up-to-date with the latest encryption and security standards and that we comply with the stringent standards set out by the card schemes.

Trustwave is an independent Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) and an Approved Scanning Vendor (ASV) for the payment card brands.

PCI Compliance

Protx is fully approved as a Level 1 compliant provider under the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). This is the highest level of compliance.

Protx was audited by Trustwave, an independent Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) and an Approved Scanning Vendor (ASV) for the payment card brands.

View our PCI certificate of approval and our approval status on the Visa website.

Member of the PCI SSC

Protx is a member of the PCI Security Standards Council (PCI SSC) and is actively involved in shaping and reviewing the proposed additions or modifications to PCI standards.

Halogen Light Bulbs

Having spent over a decade supplying halogen light bulbs, here at enviro-lights we felt in that time we had built up the necessary knowledge to bring our business to the online arena and thus our expertise in halogen light bulbs direct to the consumer. We have worked hard to make sure that the website is easy to use and that you will be able to search for products with consummate ease using either our contextual search facility or our normal navigation. Plus we make every effort to ensure that orders are delivered safely, in a timely manner and in good working order (not broken). All the halogen light bulbs are supplied by major manufacturers and top brands such as OSRAM and Sylvania and as a result we pride ourselves in being able to source products that most other companies and private individuals cannot find. For anyone that is in need of halogen light bulbs and who are finding it impossible to find, please get in touch. Once you give us the necessary details we will work tirelessly to find it as quickly as possible and supply it to you at a competitive price. Most people will be familiar with Sage Pay and Streamline, which we have found to be fast, simple and secure when it comes to ordering online, but if you are more comfortable talking to someone directly then of course you can call us on a local rate number Monday to Friday during business hours and we will do our utmost to handle your halogen light bulbs enquiry to the best of our ability.

LED Light Bulbs

We are always looking for ways keep at the forefront of lighting technology and as a result we welcome any new developments in the LED light bulbs market. That’s why we offer you a wide choice of LED light bulbs from brands such as Deltech and Pro-Lite, right up to the top of the range suppliers like OSRAM with their latest Parathom technology. LED light bulbs are advancing at a strong rate and the new Parathom range from OSRAM is a great example of this as the lamps provide a flood beam angle whilst retaining a high light output, almost on a par with halogen light bulbs. All of our LED light bulbs come with a flat rate delivery, include VAT and have multi-save offers so the more you buy, the more you save. So if you’re looking for the latest LED light bulbs then look no further than enviro-lights.co.uk

Identifying your Light Bulbs

There’s a few important factors to consider when purchasing light bulbs both online and in a shop. The first thing you must identify is the fitting; the fitting is the part that connects the light bulb to it’s power – the most common example of this is in the classic light bulb which has a bayonet cap fitting and an Edison screw fitting. Of course, it’s never quite that straight forward and there’s many different types of fitting to light bulbs. The fitting information is normally on the bulb itself, on the bulb’s packaging or on the actually light fitting. When you have identified this, you need to identify the max wattage of the fitting, if a fitting states a max wattage of 60W then you can have any wattage of light up to (but not beyond) 60W. We also stock a new range of high efficiency halogen light bulbs that provide a high light output but with a lower power consumption. After these two important factors have been considered, you then have a choice; you can choose the brand, the colour, the finish, the beam angle, the style and the pack size of your light bulbs.

Searching & Finding made Easy

To help you find the correct light bulbs, we have made a brilliant quick search box on the left hand size. As stated in the previous paragraph, find out the fitting and wattage then use the quick search facility to drill right down to the light bulbs that you can purchase. If you can’t see what you’re looking for then give us a call as we have access to over 20,000 different light bulbs.

Multi Save Light Bulbs

Many of our competitors have failed to grasp the simple concept of pricing goods up in a manner that’s easy to understand which is why we have kept the pricing structures very simple. We don’t operate a confusing sliding scale where 8 light bulbs might cost you 87p each but 11 cost you 84p each. We have packed our light bulbs up into multi-packs and are sold as singles, 5 packs, 10 packs and 20 packs. All of our prices include VAT as well so the price you see is the price you pay – we don’t try and make our products look cheaper than they actually are.
